Intro to Mass Communications is a required course in my Mass Communications major. It is a course I need to take to graduate but I am excited to begin this course because of the opportunity to learn about my major. I originally selected Mass Communication during my Senior year of high school. I was aware of my interest in sports media and my goal was to do sports Journalism. As time passed my perspective changed. Now I am leaning toward a role in Sports Public Affairs and working with athletes and organizations more so than working with the press.

This journey has led me to this Intro to Mass Communications course. Where I am focused on expanding my knowledge of media production, interaction, and involvement. My hope is that through this course I will learn the necessary skills to benefit me in my field of study, but ultimately give me more insight into the world of mass communications and allow me to find a career that best fits my passions and skills.
